RX-8 Heat Shield

LRB Speed now offers an exhaust heat shield for the 2004-2011 RX8! We have configurations available for Racing Beat headers, or non-Racing Beat headers with and without provisions for the air pump and air pump pipe, so you are set even if yours has been blocked off! This heat shield will work with both an aftermarket tubular header as well as with the stock cast iron manifold!

CNC laser cut in the US from 0.080″/2mm thick aluminum, then brush finished, and formed to shape for an exact, precise fit.   Deflect the radiating heat from the manifold/header away from the intake, resulting in lower intake temperatures.  Part comes with all mounting hardware, and requires zero drilling/cutting/trimming/hammering of your car to fit.  Simply bolt on and go!  Install with engine in car in approximately 30 minutes.  Once installed, the heat shield is very robust thanks to 5 points of attachment, and no new/added vibrations are heard when the car is in use.
