These hood vents will work with both steel and aluminum ’86-’91 FC RX7 hoods, except for the Turbo II hoods. If you have a Turbo II hood the left hand side interferes with the off-center stock hood scoop, but the right hand side can still be used to lower temps near the turbo! 🙂
The hood vents come with all necessary mounting hardware, detailed installation instructions, and a cutting template for easy installation!
During testing we observed an underhood temperature drop of 47*F while cruising (~65 mph) compared to a stock non-vented hood.
PLEASE NOTE:
– Installation will require you to cut and rivet your hood. We are not responsible for any injury to yourself or damage to your hood from improper installation! These hood vents will come with detailed installation instructions- please follow them!
– The hood vents ship flat and will require bending
– These hood vents are intended for track or offroad use only. If they are used improperly we cannot be held liable.
