FC Air Box Heat Shield

We’ve come up with an aluminum heat shield for the FC RX-7.

-Engineered and manufactured in house in the USA!

-CNC laser cut from 0.063″ (1.5mm) aluminum, finished with an even brushed finish

-Ready to be painted, powder coated, wrapped, or can be left raw to match your interior/build

-Uses all factory mounting locations so there is no drilling

-All necessary mounting hardware and installation instructions are included

Notes:

-This is currently only guaranteed to work with the S4 NA stock MAF and inlet ducting. On the S4 T2, the mount flange for the MAF will work, but in testing we noticed that the stock inlet duct did not fit, so you will need to fabricate your own. For the S5, we don’t have a MAF or inlet ducting to test, so you will need to order the “Cut Your Own” option or wait until we get an S5 in for further development.

-The maximum diameter air filter that will fit with the stock MAF inside the heat shield is 7.21″. See drawing for more dimensions.

-All versions are designed to work with the stock fresh air duct. If you do not want that provision, leave a note during checkout (underneath where you enter your billing/shipping information) or contact us prior to ordering.

-This is only for the aluminum heat shield, brackets, hardware, and edge trim. The MAF, ducting, and air filter are NOT included.
