98-05 NB Aluminum Door Panels

We’re now offering aluminum door panels for the NB1 (1998-2000) or NB2 (2001-2005) chassis Mazda Miata!

-Engineered and manufactured in house in the USA

-CNC laser cut from 0.063″ (1.5mm) aluminum, finished with an even brushed finish

-Sold as a pair

-Ready to be painted, powder coated, wrapped, or can be left raw to match your interior/build

-Substantial interior space is gained by the panels sitting flat against the door (great for roll cages, racing seats, etc) 

-Uses all factory mounting locations in the door so there is no drilling, cutting, or modifying your doors

-Mounting hardware, pull straps, and detailed installation instructions are included

-Re-uses stock rubber window trim so the glass doesn’t rattle or drag against the panels (Some disassembly of your existing panels is required to attach the factory inner window seal to our panels)

Notes:

-Textured matte black powder coat samples can be seen in the pictures. They are for reference only and coating might vary slightly with different batches.

-Powder Coating will add approximately 3 weeks to our standard build time.

-If you choose the Bose 7.5″ Round (with Tweeter) we are NOT able to move the tweeter location from what is shown in the pictures. Since our panels are flat against the door frame work instead of bulging out like the stock panels the tweeters are sunken into the door. This was the only location where there were not interference issues.

-Our tweeter mount plates will only work with the stock BOSE tweeters. The tweeters included with standard 6 x 8 speakers are different and will not fit. Aftermarket tweeters will also likely not fit without modification.

-You do NOT get the OE window trim which is attached to the panel, it is to be re-used from your existing panels. Your purchase will come with 2 aluminum cards, hardware, & pull strap ONLY.

-Due to different tolerances in the holes in the door from Mazda, we changed out the hardware for the front two holes to use plastic push rivets instead of the flat head screws and finish washers as shown in the pictures, as in some instances the screws weren’t able to be installed
