A customizable aluminum dashboard for the 2nd Gen (’98-’02) Dodge Ram!

-Engineered and manufactured in house in the USA!

-CNC laser cut from 0.063″ (1.5mm) aluminum, finished with an even brushed finish

-Ready to be painted, powder coated, wrapped, or can be left raw to match your interior/build

-Weighs approximately 18 lbs and replaces all of the broken stock plastic dashboard structure, utilizing only the steel subframe

-Uses all factory mounting locations so there is no drilling, cutting, or modifying your truck

-All necessary mounting hardware and installation instructions are included

Notes: 

-Certain configurations of this product are available for quick shipping. They will show up as “In Stock, Ships within 2 Business Days” under the price. If you choose a configuration that is not in stock, it will say “Subject to our Standard Build Time” in this location. If you order an In Stock product with another product that is not in stock, your full order will ship together according to our standard build time.

-This dashboard is designed to work with stock door panels or our aluminum door panels. Aftermarket door panels from other companies may interfere with the dashboard design and may require modification to work.

-VIN Holes: Some dashboards had VIN plates mounted to the dashboard, while others had them mounted to the truck body. NONE of our dashboards come pre-cut with holes to mount the VIN plate, but we will include a dimensioned drawing and drill bit so you can add them easily.

-Driver’s Gauges Customization Notes: If you need this area customized, please contact us prior to ordering! We’ll need to know which gauges/digital dashboard display (Racepak etc) you’d like mounting holes for (along with their dimensions and the approximate location that you’d like them) to go on the dashboard in front of the driver. Your custom setup must fit within the following dimensional area: 14.5″ wide x 4.75″ high

-Here are a list of the options that correlate to the numbered CAD drawing of the dashboard. Please reference these numbers in the customization field if you’d like anything omitted: Air Conditioning Vents & Climate Control (3), Headlight Switch (4), Heated Seats Switch/Cubby (5), 12V Sockets/Cigarette Lighters (*READ NOTE) (6)

-12V Sockets/Cigarette Lighters Note: This option will not work with the stock 12V sockets/cigarette lighters as they were not able to be removed from the stock dashboard intact. If you would like to utilize this option, we purchased some off of Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BQ1JYTX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that we have incorporated into our aluminum dashboard. Some minor wiring is required for installation.

–Double DIN Radio Note: If you have a full sized unit (with a CD player) you might have to trim the stock steel dashboard frame to allow enough clearance for it to sit flush in the opening.

–Stock Radio Notes: This option allows you to utilize the OEM radio. Please note that there are two cover plates (included) that are needed for mounting as shown in the photos.

-Defroster vents are standard for all dashboard configurations

-Our dashboard will fit the stock gauge cluster or our aluminum gauge panel (our aluminum panel is included if you choose “Customized” for the Driver’s Gauges Option). We cannot guarantee if it will fit with other aftermarket gauge clusters.

-Our dashboard kit ships unassembled and will need to be riveted together! All rivets are included and all holes are pre-cut in the proper locations, so assembly is straightforward and there are thorough installation instructions. Assembly and installation will take between 10 and 20 hours depending on your mechanical skill level (this time includes complete removal and disassembly of the stock dash to accept our aluminum dashboard).

-The top cap (over the gauge hood) as well as the panel below the column are removable for easy access to wiring and replacement of any switches or components that mount to the gauge bezel should they fail in the future.

-None of the stock components are included. They are reused from your truck and mounted to our dashboard.

-All powder coated pictures are for reference only and coating colors and textures might vary slightly with different batches. We tried to match the stock gray and tan as closely as possible, but it will likely not be exact.

-Textured Matte Light Gray and Textured Matte Tan powder coat note: The gauge bezel and both of the RH side storage cubbies will be powder coated black (see reference photos).

-Powder Coating will add approximately 4 weeks to our standard build time.

-The installation of this dashboard removes the passenger side airbag. It cannot be used with our aluminum dashboard. This is for offroad use only!!

-Due to the customizable nature of the dashboard, it is not eligible for return or exchange!
