FD Rear Seat/Storage Bin Delete

We’re happy to release our Rear Seat/Storage Bin Delete for the 3rd Generation RX-7!

-Engineered and manufactured in house in the USA!

-CNC laser cut from 0.063″ (1.5mm) aluminum, finished with an even brushed finish

-Ready to be painted, powder coated, wrapped, or can be left raw to match your interior/build

-Uses all factory mounting locations so there is no drilling, cutting, or modifying your car (**unless you order the battery relocation add on**)

-All necessary mounting hardware and installation instructions are included

 

 

Seat Delete Notes:

The second picture shows the 6 pieces that you will receive with this product, numbered 1-4. #1 is the main divider piece that has the “RX-7” badge on it (if you order it with that, otherwise it will be blank), #2 is the main “seat” portion, #3 are the wheel hump covers, #4 are the front filler panels that attach the “seat” portion to the vehicle on the front edge.

The rear seat/storage bin delete includes panels that will fill the gap between our seat delete and our quarter trim panels (or gutted quarters), giving it a more complete look!

-If your interior is gutted (no carpet) you may want to consider purchasing the add on foam tape option to quiet it down!

Rear Seat/Storage Bin Delete Options: If your battery has been relocated to the storage bin area we have a few options to accommodate it with our kit!

-Flat Covers – Sit flush with the seat delete for a sleek look while still allowing access to a small battery or hidden storage! Toolless hardware (winged screws) will be included, so you can easily access it anywhere! The maximum battery size that will fit with a flat cover is 6.5″ height x 9″ length x 7″ width. (See battery sketch for details)

-Raised Battery Covers – These are designed to fit the stock battery size (Group 35). Toolless hardware (winged screws) will be included, so you can easily access it anywhere! The maximum battery size that will fit with a raised battery cover is 9″ height x 9″ length x 7″ width.

Battery Mounting Kit Notes:

-Kit includes battery base plate which nests perfectly into the bottom of the rear seat bucket, 2 threaded rods with wing nuts, and a top clamping plate. The holes in the base plate are slotted so they can accommodate varying battery sizes.

-Mounting kit installs using M6 rivet nuts (Rivnuts) which are included, but you will need your own rivnut tool.

-Some RHD vehicles might be missing 3 studs that we utilize for mounting. If this is the case, you’ll need to drill and install rivnuts to mount it (not provided)
